Happy Thanksgiving!

I have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, including my clients and business! Thanks for your continued support, referrals to others, and kind words about my work! I love to hear how much you love your portraits, how you open your package and get your portraits on the wall the same day (or even within the first hour after they arrive!) and how you passed my card along to your neighbor, friend, aquaintance. You guys rock!

I had the privilege of photographing this handsome little guy at 6 months at his gorgeous home and now at 9 months at the studio! He has gotten so much bigger, but still maintains his happy, easy going attitude! He is a joy and oh so handsome, lots of fun to photograph! Enjoy~

Highlights from the Edelweiss Baby Mini Sessions!

The Edelweiss Baby Mini Sessions, held earlier this month, were a lot of fun! It was busy, but I really LOVE to photograph children! With almost 30 sessions, and about 50 kids over the course of two days, I left the store enthusiast and excited! I enjoy all aspects of kids personality--yes--even when they are a little naughty--I can usually capture some fun expressions! There are so many favorites I can't share them all, here are just a few from the sessions...

Some Test Sessions From My New Natural Light Studio

I am looking forward to having an indoor natural light option for sessions over the winter for clients! The new studio is located in Minneapolis in the area of 94 and Broadway, just minutes from downtown. Lots of different looks available with the wood floors, exposed brick walls, wood posts, and various white, grey and black backdrops as well!

I am so thrilled to have my second portrait selected as a Finalist in the BetterPhoto October contest! This portrait titled "Joy" includes an up and coming photographer friend of mine and her gorgeous new baby girl! This was one of my favorites from their session!

And One More Makes 3 Girls! | Eden Prairie On Location Photographer

I was thrilled when mom contacted me to take the portraits of her girls again, this time with their newest addition! I photographed the two "big" girls last fall when mom was pregnant and looking fabulous! A Gorgeous Fall Day & Family | Plymouth On Location Photographer

What a fun family and energetic boys! I had loads of fun playing with these guys on a gorgeous fall day! I kept joking that a squirrel was in my crazy curly hair...well a squirrel jumped down from a tree missing my head by just a few feet...the boys thought this was hilarious! I guess I should watch what I say...Loved working with you guys, hope to see you again soon!
