My Daughter's 5 Year Session

I can't believe that my baby is already 5! Well, okay her birthday was in March and I just got her session photographed last week...I just got a few new poofs, for little kids and for bigger kids, she loved it! Here is a little sneak peek...

Photography by Christine will be on holiday in London from Friday, May 22 until Saturday, May 30! I am looking forward to heading back over the pond to visit some mates, eat at my favorite restaurants, and explore some new areas of England we never made it to while we lived there. Calling all babies under 24 months for the 2009 Model Search!

Photography by Christine is proud to partner with Edelweiss Baby for its 2009 Model Search! To enter your child in the Model Search you can call Edelweiss Baby and "pre-register" for a specific time window on a specific day. While this doesn't mean that your child's photo will be taken exactly at the time specified, it does mean that the chance of having to wait for any extended period will be greatly minimized...because we all know how patient babies can be!

If you don't want to pre-register, walk-ins will also be taken on all three days. As I'm sure you can appreciate, walk-ins may have to wait a tad longer and necessarily will be seen after the folks who have pre-registered but this allows people the flexibility to find the time that is right for them and their baby.

There will be one Grand Prize Winner and three Runners-Up selected. Grand Prize Package The child selected as the winner of the 2009 Edelweiss Baby Model Search will receive the following: $100 Edelweiss Baby Gift Certificate $100 Savings Bond Separate on-location natural light portrait session with Photography by Christine including one complimentary 8"x10" portrait Child's image will appear in promotional materials and in-store displays Bragging rights!! Runners-Up Prize Package The three runner-up winners will each receive the following:

Instructions and Official Rules As you can imagine, there are some rules regarding the Model Search that are important to know and understand before you decide to have your child participate. The full rules are available on our website which you can link to by clicking here. In a nutshell, though, here are the important things to know:

Your child must have been born after June 7th, 2006. There are no exceptions to this rule and you may be required to show proof of age if your child is selected as the potential winner in order to be eligible to receive any of the prize packages. Depending on the number of people interested in having their child participate, there may be insufficient time to photograph every child. Edelweiss Baby reserves the right to limit the number of children participating in the Model Search to the number that it deems, in its sole discretion, can reasonably and safely be photographed in the allotted time. The parent or guardian of each child that desires to be considered for the Model Search must complete a registration form that includes a release related to participation in the Model Search. The parent and/or guardian of the models selected as our 2009 Edelweiss Baby models will also be required to sign a release at a later date that grants Edelweiss Baby the right to use the child's photograph, image or likeness in commerce and for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes without limitation or additional compensation to the parent, guardian or child.

Participants will be judged based on overall appearance of the child as shown in the photo taken, the personality of the child as expressed through the photo and the child's demeanor in participating in the taking of the photo. In all case, the selection of the winners will be at the sole discretion of Edelweiss Baby. By electing to participate in the Model Search and by completing the required registration form, the parent/guardian of the participating child is consenting to being contacted, electronically or otherwise, by Edelweiss Baby or other companies/entities involved in the model search. Additionally, the parent or guardian of the participating child will be registered as a Preferred Customer with Edelweiss Baby and consents to the receipt of communications, electronic or otherwise, related to that program.
